Desa Pakuncen, Kecamatan Jatilawang, Banyumas.

We went there to see the “Turunan” rite of Islam Kejawen at kyai Bonokeling’s cemetery. Unfortunately, it was the wrong date. Should be on Jumat Kliwon (Kliwon Friday of Javanese calendar) around a week after Idul Fitri. Then we looked around the peaceful village and lucky, we found an ebeg (kuda lumping) performance.

Bonokeling Cemetery is one of Banyumas heritage sites. You are not allowed to enter without the permission of the juru kunci (caretaker).

Kalo naik kendaraan umum kayaknya agak susah Sifa. Sebaiknya naik motor & modal nekat pakai GPS + tanya-tanya orang🙂 bisa coba email ke saya (ada di “about”) karena terkoneksi ke rekan saya yg bolang juga
